I guess everything couldn't be perfect!

Well, right after I posted this afternoon I recieved a call from our pediatrician that Joshua has jaundice. Home Health came out today and set him up a little bed that has blue lights so that we can get his levels down. It is nothing serious and with this treatment he should be just fine. He is so cute in his little bed!

This is a very common occurrence. In the "olden days" babies and Mamas remained in the hospital for a week or more, especially when a C-Section was done (that usually required TWO weeks hospital stay) and these conditions were found before baby was home and the treatment done.

Allie looks so natural holding Joshua while her Daddy holds her. Seriously. She's done some "baby" time in her short life.

Love you all; hope to get to SEE and hold that little bundle soon.

In sweet hope.

Congratulations on your baby boy! My little boy had jaundice too, but they didn't give me the little box with lights. They gave me this blanket I had to wrap around his stomach, then try to swaddle him in another blanket to keep the bili-blanket on. It was funny because everyone kept telling me what a nice color he was how his coloring was different from us...yeah, jaundice will do that! Praying for your swift recovery!

Oh seeing that bili light brought back some memories! Even though you hate to see your baby under that light I always thought they looked so cute with the little mask on!

Praying his numbers will go down soon and you can send the box back.Keep coming with the pics! He's sooooo cute and I love the one with Allie holding him!
